December 29th: Picks of the Weekend and final thoughts on 2017

-Final thoughts on 2017: THANK GOD IT IS OVER for the sports world, at least….what a HORRIBLE year in Husker athletics until December, where  Scott Frost was hired and volleyball won a National Title..will we ever speak of this horrendous year ever again?

-Picks:  Wisconsin/Miami (Orange Bowl); Washington/Penn State (Fiesta Bowl); Georgia/Oklahoma (Rose Bowl); Alabama/Clemson (Sugar Bowl); UCF/Auburn (Peach Bowl)

December 29th: Let’s make some New Year’s Resolutions for Nebraska coaches and their programs! / Shut Up Sipple

-Tim Miles/Nebrasketball                   -Scott Frost/Husker Football                              -Darin Erstad/Husker Baseball

December 29th: It’s our last show of the year! So let’s talk more Scott Frost—how much could a win against Auburn help in the ‘infomercial’….and how much could a loss damage it?

-UCF plays Auburn on New Year’s Day in the Peach Bowl, and we’ve discussed it a lot…but let’s hit it more…could a bad loss damage anything at all in Scott Frost’s image?

-If UCF were to win, knowing that Scott Frost and staff have been recruiting for Nebraska while also preparing for a massive bowl game against Auburn, as a 9.5 point underdog…that might go down as one of the most impressive stories in college football in a lonnnnnnng time. Would that help land recruits? Would certainly get more articles written about Frost and Nebraska and even more publicity…

December 29th: Collin Schuck (PBP Voice of Lincoln Stars)

-Bullet points from email

December 29th: Cary Cochran (Former Nebrasketball guard)

-You were at your first game in a long time last Friday against Delaware State…thoughts on the team/atmosphere?

-Unless Nebraska loses tonight to Stetson, they are going to come away unscathed in this 3 game stretch that has hurt them in the past…and should leave them at 10-5. Is this a tourney team now or not?

-How high could/should Nebraska finish in the B1G this season?…and Cary has a story about nearly landing an NBA star at a previous job….

December 29th: Tanner Lee makes it official and declares for the NFL Draft; how will you remember his time at Nebraska, and what does his future look like?

-Lee came originally as an unheralded transfer out of Tulane who was thought to just be another guy…but then we saw him in the Fall of 2016 and thought he had big potential….and then in the Spring of 2017, the hype machine was out of control

-Phil Savage, Chris Mortenson, and more said Lee could be a highly drafted QB…before we saw him even play a game at Nebraska! Good size, good arm…but questionable decision-making. Is he for sure going to make it in the pros? And was it really possible that Scott Frost did want to keep him?
