December 28th: 3 ranked matchups tonight in bowl games…will bowl season finally start getting interesting this evening?

-#22 VA Tech vs. #19 OK State in the Camping World Bowl; #13 Stanford vs. #15 TCU in the Valero Alamo Bowl; and #18 Washington State vs. #16 Michigan State in the Holiday Bowl

-Also, regarding Washington State…another great Mike Leach story from yesterday….he had a pet raccoon!

December 28th: Scott Frost mentioned possible attrition on early Signing Day….but after a disastrous 4-8 season, is there anyone that isn’t replaceable? / Shut Up Sipple

-The attrition word makes some fans shutter…but think about what just happened—the team fell apart, was soft, and fell to 4-8. What players on the roster are the most important to keep for sure? Because it would be hard to argue that many are 100% needed going forward and irreplaceable…

December 28th: Scott Frost says he wants B1G teams to have to adapt to his offense…so what exactly does that look like?

-Are we expecting a heavy run game from Nebraska, or 50/50 pass? How much running should we expect from the starting QB? Will Frost slowly implement his offense in Year 1, or get it all out in Spring ball and Fall camp and get everything rolling immediately?

-Riley seemed to not know exactly how to attack the roster when he got here, but Frost can certainly change that up. Could Nebraska really at some point soon have the top offense in nation like UCF did, or at least a top offense? Or was that just a product of below-average defenses in the AAC?

December 28th: Could Deion Sanders be leaving the broadcast booth to join Willie Taggart at Florida State?

-Sanders was a Seminoles legend, of course, and then had huge success in the NFL, and has been a studio broadcaster for CBS and NFL Network for several years…would he leave that gig for FSU? And what other past Huskers would be good to make the same type of move for Nebraska?

December 28th: Is it easy for you to root for B1G teams in bowl games, or do you naturally root against them?

-Iowa and Purdue played yesterday, and although it’s good for the B1G as a whole for them to win, it feels weird rooting for teams you root against all year

-As a texter pointed out yesterday, Sorensen would never, EVER root for an AFC East team in the playoffs if the Dolphins weren’t playing…he doesn’t want to see those teams ever be successful…isn’t it the same way in bowl games with league foes?
