December 27th: Will Iowa and Purdue lay eggs for the B1G today in bowl games, or get the conference off to a good start?

-Iowa takes on Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl, and Purdue takes on Arizona in the Foster Farms Bowl

-Purdue hasn’t been to a bowl game in a long time and has to be hungry for a win….they probably offer the best chance at a win, right? Can the B1G get off to a rare 2-0 start in bowl play?

December 27th: Sean Callahan (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple

-Do you think Adrian Martinez is the starting QB when the Huskers hit the field in spring/fall?

-What exactly are you expecting in the first year of Scott Frost? How much will the UCF bowl game help in getting more recruits?

December 27th: What exactly should be the expectation in Scott Frost’s first year at Nebraska?

-Is simply getting back to a bowl game enough? Is it higher than that? Is there legitimate reason to expect this team could potentially contend—and win—the B1G West?

-We’ll have a better idea of what to expect when we see how Spring Football goes, obviously—but that’s not here yet. So we have fun in projecting and trying to think of what the goal should be.

-Would 8-4 be out of the question because of the tough schedule? And don’t forget, the non-con schedule is pretty darn tough this year

December 27th: The Steelers might have just done the dumbest thing possible before the playoffs

-Pittsburgh straight up released long-time star linebacker James Harrison…and OF COURSE the Patriots signed him to play on their team. So…the man who has been with Pittsburgh for more than a decade can now let Belichick and company know what to expect from the Steelers’ offense and defense when/if they play again…why would Pittsburgh do such a dumb thing?

December 27th: If Tim Miles and Nebrasketball make the NCAA Tournament this year, do you think he is capable of sustaining that success on a yearly basis or will it be more of the same?

-The World-Herald’s Lee Barfnecht wrote an article that said this team is the most talented he’s seen since the Danny Nee era—and that means more talented than the ’13-’14 team that made the Big Dance…

-Has Miles finally figured out the way to get it done at Nebraska? And with that being said, now that we’ve seen Nebraska competing well in big games—barring a major meltdown, has Miles clinched another year with the way his team has played so far?
